Welcome in this quiet space, dedicated to the magic of nature.
My name is Barbara: I am an artisan, a former geologist-researcher, and I have felt a strong connection to nature since I was a child.
The need to create with my hands arose in a period of difficulty, confusion and transformation. Working with metals and natural gems (precious stones, crystals, and pearls) proved to be a medicine for my heart and soul, and I hope that what you will choose to purchase here will be able to do the same for you.
I am inspired by Nature, our inner world, shamanism, and worldwide folklore.
The amulet-jewelry you see on this website is all designed and handmade by me in a small workshop among olive trees, in Abruzzo (Italy).
I don't own a physical store at the moment, but if you wish to touch and try on some of my creations you have some options:
- you can visit me at the workshop by appointment,
- you can visit one of the stores I collaborate with (write to me to receive a complete list),
- or you can stop by my stand during one of the events I will be attending during the year (sign up for Lettere dal Bosco from the pop-up on the Home page to stay updated).
As an artisan, I am committed to some fundamental values:
Environmental sustainability of materials and of the creation process: I use electricity obtained from the Sun, I reuse processing waste, my jewels do not contain artificial glass, plastic or resin, the gems are exclusively natural (not treated nor created artificially).
Furthermore, my packaging does not contain plastic (recycled handmade paper, jute thread and dried lavender from my garden), it is simple and elegant at the same time, suitable for gifting.
Authentic handmade work from a registered Italian artisan: performed by me according to slow traditional methods, the utmost attention to detail, and intent. Each creation is not a simple ornament, but a unique amulet and is alive, with unrepeatable details and an intrinsic energy acquired during its creation. Holding one in your hand, you will understand what I mean.
Professional and friendly communication with each of you: we are all human beings with life stories and emotions. Listening or reading your personal stories and desires is a joy for me. I offer consultations for the creation of custom amulets, through simple communication or through dedicated shamanic journeys and divination with oracle and tarot cards.
