100% Wool Basque Astral Spirits: Constellation Corvus

"Astral Spirits" is a collection of hats (berets) dedicated to the bond between woodland creatures and constellations, each with its own myths and peculiar energy. I designed it together with a very talented embroiderer, Giorgia, known on Instagram as @amountainoflight .

CONSTELLATION CORVUS:

According to Greek mythology, Raven was originally a white bird with a melodious song.

One day, the god Apollo told Corvus to bring him some water in a sacred cup. However, once he reached the stream where he was supposed to collect the water, he got distracted and began to gorge on figs.

Returning late, he apologized by blaming a water snake, but the god knew it was a lie and punished him by changing the color of his feathers and the sound of his song.

In the night sky, Corvus endlessly chases a water-cup-shaped constellation (Crater) and is located near the serpent (Hydra).

DETAILS, COMPOSITION & CARE:

The beret is 100% wool, decorated with a hand-made embroidery using gold thread and beads. The embroidery follows the royal constellation.
The pendant is made of unplated brass, hand-drilled and engraved, with a dangling star. Each piece is unique!
