In the forest of Lothlórien blooms the Elanor, whose name means “star-sun”: a golden flower that encapsulates the gentle light of the Elves and the promise that every shadow can shine again. It was said that it bloomed even in winter, bringing light and hope to the meadows where it grew. The Hobbit Sam carried the memory of the flower in his heart even after returning to the Shire, and chose to name his firstborn daughter after it.
