Bear Pendants

The Bear is an animal that has aroused fascination and reverence in man since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the numerous cave paintings discovered. Probably for this reason, the bear is also one of the most important animal spirits in shamanism: in some cultures, it represented one of the fundamental guides of the shaman.

The Bear is a symbol of balanced protection and strength, introspection, motherhood in its purest and wildest essence. It can accompany us in delimiting and enforcing our personal space, in welcoming and protecting ourselves and those dear to us, in retreating into the "cave of dreams" to transmute and emerge renewed.

I created two versions of this amulet, "Ursa Major" (photos 1-2) and "Protect" (photos 3-4), highlighting two particular aspects of the Bear: its stellar and spiritual nature, which is reflected in the constellation of Ursa Major, and its protective nature.

If you wish, I can recreate these charms with another word of your choice imprinted on them.

Material: Brass, cadmium and nickel free.
To maintain its shine, simply wipe it with a microfibre cloth (included in the package) with a few drops of brass cream from time to time, or leave the jewel to soak in a warm solution of salt and vinegar for 15 minutes and then rub it with the cloth.

The size of each pendant is approximately: 3 x 1.5 cm.

Each pendant will come with a gold-plated steel chain (about 45 cm long) and a handmade clasp. If you would like a longer or shorter chain, write it to me in the order notes!

Each piece will have small differences, which will make it unique, due to the entirely manual processing.
